Discover How to Reconnect With Your Customer Base

We as business owners tend to create sales by looking for new customers. Often times, we fail to talk to our existing customers who are our free resources for creating additional profits.

Below, discover how to market and reconnect with your current customer base.

* Communication

The most important tool in dealing with your customer base is communication. You need to let your customer base know how much they are appreciated. Once they have ordered from you, you have overcome the biggest obstacle of getting that order. The next step is to offer them additional opportunities to purchase from you again and again. Develop a marketing plan to make this happen.

* Repeat buyers

If you offer a product package that is upgraded, such as an eBook, or a same product offered at a different price, let your current customer base know this. This is an excellent opportunity to create more sales and profits for you. Provide a product value that will benefit and influence your customer’s purchasing power.

* Marketing Materials

Consider and develop your marketing materials by deciding on price, special offers, and how you are going to keep in touch with your customer base. Write your special offers and sales material on your flyers, email campaigns, website, blog, and social media sites. You want to be flexible and try a few methods to find out which ones work best for your business.

* Stay connected

Contact those customers you have sold to before and re-acquaint yourself with them. Ask questions by creating a survey to find out how they have benefited from your product. This method is a great way to get testimonials. Don’t be afraid to talk to your customers and do what is necessary to stay in contact. If you build a good relationship with your customer base, they will become customers for a long time to come. If you reconnect and recapture your customer base, your profit margins will increase significantly.
